Mipedian Strength -Creatures Only-

I just got some Silent Sands cards and was ready to build my War Beast deck although I didn’t get many cards and I got no Blazvatan. Here is the best I could do with my DoP and SiSa collection:

I’m a little paranoid at the moment so I’d perfer not to post my attacks and locations. I suppose when I’m sure of my little experiment I will share the rest of this build.

I bought 8 Silent Sands packs for about 30$ + I think I spent 120$ or so on DoP but I only used rare to common cards for the locations and attacks. I think this deck can probably be made with 8 of each boosters.

Silent Sands

Here it is, the new Silent Sands expansion set for this month. I believe its about 3 weeks til launch. Chaotic has promised the cards will be useable as soon as they are released.

Reports from Chaotic members,Nick07 and Occasus (Chaotic’s resident star player ;D) included cards from the new set.

I recall the addition of a new creature sub type for the Mipedians, War Beasts and Conjurers. The War Beasts have amazingly high disciplines (stats) but with this great power is recklessness. 25 recklessness to be excact. We don’t know the names of these power houses but what we do know is the Conjurers are there to reduce the recklessness of the War Beasts so expect to see army builds reflecting this.

An awesome upset to the game and no doubt will it bring some sort of wrinkle in the Bloot + Chaor +X army. I assume there will be a couple of Mugic and Battlegear to defend yourself against these creatures.

One thing I speculate can kill them is Iparu. He was featured on the show as a shape shifter and everyone was amazed by him and wanted his card. Your prayers have been answered in the form of an Ultra Rare 50 E Air and Fire Overworld Creature from the Silent Sands. Oh and did I forget to mention he copies the opposing creature stats effectively canceling all challenge attacks?

Mipedians

Prince Mudeenu is a brute! He is all about damage and is obsessed with owning the Cothica. Don’t get in his way, he is mean!

Marquis Darini is a must have for your Mipedians! He adds 5 additional damage to your invisibilty strike! He also packs the Wind and Fire element. When he is being attacked you want to make sure to keep him alive at all costs! Use your Mugic and skills, just don’t let him perish! T.T

“Fool get out of the way!” said Prince Mudeenu to me.

“What wait Im writing a blog for my fans!”

“No now I’m in charge!” he yells as I’m pushed down a well.

“Ok so we Mipedians are the best! We are sneaky, strong, wise, quick and most of courageous! Fearocity is my attack you hear? Toxic Gust works well with us and so does Ember Swarm and Lightning Burst!”

“What Battlegear do you use?” I yell in a dizzy voice @_@

“Pyroblaster, Viledriver and Cycalnce, Torwegg! You make sure we are able to do as much damage as possible per turn. Try to use my best soldiers! IF they lack an element you better give them one!”

“Prince, what about Mugic? @_@”

“Ahh yes, ahahahahahaha! Fanfare of the Vanishing, Song of Recovery and Song of Deflection are among my favourites! Each one makes us survive longer or do more damage! If those evil Underworlders try to cast their Cannons, we’ll deflect it right back at them with our Song of Deflection!”

“Well now I am off to my home in the Mipedian Oasis where I do even more damage!”

“How much more? @_@’ “

“An extra 15 to my first strike! Ahahahhahahahahahahaha. I might take a dive in the Storm Tunnel or Lava Ponds too, you know depending on how Im feeling!”

“Yeah, if you could excuse me, I’m gonna go call an ambulance!” I collapse from fatigue and smile because I finally finished my four parter on the tribes!

Ok, so now I don’t know what to write about… I might put up a deck design or something. Well check back soon, I’ll have something ready! 😀

What is Chaotic?

 

Chaotic is a three pornged attack. It’s a card game, a TV show and an online game. It started off as a Danish trading card game. It then evolved into Chaotic: Now or Never, a precursor to the game we now know.

The current version launched in October 2007.

The core of the game involves creatures battling each other in various locations and equipped with fanstic weapons called Battlgegear. The game is set up in a pyramid structure on both sides. The first row is the biggest then the next row has 1 less card until you have a backrow with only one card. Or… 1 v 1, 3 v 3 and 6 v 6. You move your creatures to any spot on the pyramid and fight the creature in the occupied space using attack cards. If that wasn’t complicated enough, Mugic, yes you know it’s spelt like that by now, lets you use a wide array of effects ranging from healing damage to giving your creatures another element.

There are four tribes; Underworld, Overworld, Danians and Mipedians.

Underworlders consist of fiendish creatures like Chaor and Van Bloot. They specialize in the fire and power categories.

OverWorlders consist of humanoid animals and heroes like Maxxor, Intress and Tangeth Toborne. They specialize in courage and water.

Danians consist of ant like insects like Odu-Bathax and Lore. They specialize in earth and umm… well they have this power called Hive which increases certain stats by 5 for every mandiblor you control… o.0 More on that later.

 And the Mipedians are lizard creatures with the power invisibility. They specialize in air and speed.

ChaoticGame.com takes card game online! You can play with other people and post on the message boards. It’s still in beta though so there are a lot of kinks and such but that is expected to be worked out by February when the game will come out of beta.

Chaotic the TV show tells the story of Tom Majors and his friends. Strong players receive a code to travel to Chaotic and play the game for real. The kids become the creatures and battle in the dromes. They can even go out into Perim and scan the creatures themselves for more cards! A major plot development of the show is the addition of Codemasters who are strong players with never before seen cards. It seems as if the goal of each player is to defeat them all.

 Well that’s my overview of Chaotic, from here on in, my posts will be focusing on one part of the Chaotic world. That means you can look forward to reviews of episodes and cards, deck building tips and any rumours and news relating to Chaotic!
